Think Wink Hotels. Think a revolution in Vietnamese hospitality. Compact rooms that are a perfect base for exploring. Social areas. Automated check-in and a co-working space to replace the tired old business center. A community of one where everyone is welcome and everyone is connected. And then there’s the unique service style led by Wink Hotels’ playful and ever-present Guides.

At Wink Hotels we are doing things differently. So, we’re dispensing with traditional interviews (who enjoys those anyway?). In comes casting – a chance to become a hospitality professional for Vietnam’s first locally-born international-standard hotel brand; a day showing us who you really are. Skills can be learned. With that in mind, Wink Hotels is searching for future service stars with the right character to excel. Sure, a hospitality background is useful. Being passionate is essential.

Why Now? Why Cast?

Wink is more than a hotel. In the next seven years, Wink will open its doors in major cities (Saigon, Danang, and Hanoi) and beyond – tropical, tranquil Tuy Hoa; the capital of the lush Mekong Delta, Can Tho and Vung Tau, the seaside escape from sultry Saigon…

The first Wink Hotel opens at 75 Nguyen Binh Khiem in early 2021. Wink Hotel Saigon Center, as we’re calling it, has 237 rooms. It also has the perfect mix. Location – find us in the “Soho of Saigon”, District 1’s buzzing Dakao Ward. Authenticity, the hotel gives modern travelers lots of what they do need (tips about the best bars and restaurants; pointers on the coolest spots to sip on a cold brew) while cutting out lots of what they don’t: like overbearing service and overloaded minibars. And price – we offer guests affordable luxury. Stays that are light on the pocket but rich in experiences.

Wink Hotel Saigon Centre’s playful Wink Space where Guides lead the guest experience.

Lots of traditional elements of the hotel experience run counter to the modern traveler’s requirements. That’s why we cut them out. Instead, we’re doubling down on what matters – fast check-in, good food when you want it, and meaningful interactions. Imagine having an in-the-know local on hand to point you in the right direction. That’s Wink Hotels’ Guides. And by Guides we mean baristas and bartenders, receptionists and room attendants, kitchen hands and cooks…

And the best way to discover the people to lead the Wink experience? A casting day where applicants get to learn about us, and we get to know them.

Applying Made Easy

The idea is simple. To apply for your place at our casting day, shoot a short video introducing yourself. Then tell us why you would love to lead the Wink Hotels guest experience. Sure, creative edits and fast cuts are cool. But we’re looking for ideas and not high-end production. Better to send an inspiring one-minute explanation of why you’d make the perfect Guide than a glossy film that doesn’t really reveal your passion.

So what are you waiting for? Grab your phone or camera. Shoot your video (remember to shoot in landscape mode). And join Wink Hotels’ community of one.

Submit. Upload your video to YouTube. And submit the clip by email to joinus@wink-hotels.com and include a CV. Then, wait for the casting call from Wink Hotels.
