Think whisky, think Scotland. There’s the history, and the stories from the four regions of Scotland: The Islands, Speyside, The Lowlands and Highlands. In tribute, we’ve turned the Wink Space into a Classic Malts Experience. So, besides tasting areas, there’s the Boat House Stage, performances, and a BBQ out on the terrace.

Get ready for a true sensory experience. The event runs for two days, on the 24th and 25th of December. The history reads something like this: the spirit appeared in the 15th century. It was first created by monks, using barley as the main ingredient. By the 16th century, the spirit was becoming popular, and Scotland had created history. The Classic Malts Collection launch event is a tribute to that long history, brought right up-to-date thanks to featured artists like Le Hieu, Pham Viet Hoang, and Yuno Bigboi. And DJs Victor, Bi Lee, Duca Dan and Vank. The event also digs into the history and stories of the Scottish spirit, and provides opportunities to learn about the four regions…while enjoying the kind of party the Scots would be proud of.

Get aboard the train at the Classic Malts Collection experience.

Introducing The Classic Malts Collection

The Classic Malts Experience is an innovative and engaging way to convey the stories behind the bottles. The collection features eight bottles from legendary distilleries, with labels that feature the mythical creatures sent to protect the far reaches of Scotland. And the collection is a reminder of the fine whiskies produced across the land, from Highlands to Lowlands.

A Tasting Experience Featuring Fine Cuisine

Besides learning about the unique tastes of the bottles from Lowlands, Highlands, Islands and Speyside, the Classic Malts Experience is presented as a train journey through this historic part of the UK. Local legends Ngoc Suong are providing the cuisine to pair with each sip. Super.

Think Scottish whisky, think rolling hills, dancers, kilts and bagpipes.

Arts + The Classic Malts Experience Event

Besides whisky, Scotland has immediate cultural touchpoints. Immediately to mind come rolling hills, dancers, kilts and bagpipes. And so The Classic Malts Experience includes an emotive performance of “Scotland The Brave”. Then there are the dancers, whose performances include a fairy dance to a soundtrack sung by Le Hieu. Away from the stage, guests are free to explore. Close your eyes and imagine being in the area of Scotland presented in each interactive space. Then kick back to live shows by Yuno Bigboi and Pham Viet Hoang.

The Classic Malts Experience Train Is Leaving The Station

The ‘journey’ begins as you step into the Wink Space where you’re greeted by the locomotive that will chug its way to your destinations. At each, guest bartenders present the story behind the whisky sharing insights into the distillation process and symbolic meaning behind each label. And around the buffet and bar areas, reimagined as Scottish distilleries, enjoy some concoctions created by the talented Classic Malts Experience team. The doors are closing and the train is about to depart.

The launch event of the Classic Malts collection will take place at Wink Space of Wink Hotel Saigon Center on 24 + 25 December.
